Romney's 'American Century' Is Very Un-American

It’s frequently said by members of the right-wing commentariat that in order for Mitt Romney to cement his status as the GOP frontrunner, he must move beyond his prosaic, poll-tested proclamations that he’s a successful businessman far removed from Washington, and instead get into specifics about what he would do if President.

The alleged seers on the right get it backwards. Indeed, while Romney’s plasticity may be off-putting to some within the electorate, the bigger problem for the former Massachusetts Governor is when he uncaps his pen to promote what he supposedly believes.
