The Obama administration appears to have a split personality at the moment about the role and economic health of small business in America. Within a span of days, President Obama himself led a push for an enormous increase in the minimum wage, from $7.25 to $10.10 per hour, and then did a u-turn in order to delay the Obamacare employer mandate for businesses. If businesses cannot afford to give their employees health insurance exactly how are they supposed to pay workers up to a 39 percent raise? It is almost as if something else is behind these decisions.
