Old Timers Aren't Bullish On Stocks... Are You?

All year, nearly every major billionaire investor (who is not a long-only perma-bull) has publicly made the case to be negative or cautious on U.S. stocks – read here. Most recently, on Monday (10/17/2016), David Tepper, Carl Ichan, and Jeff Gundlach were on CNBC (Happy 5th Anniversary to The Halftime Show) saying they were not bullish on stocks. Ichan said, ” A lot of companies are ‘way overvalued.’ Tepper said, “ I’m generally pretty cautious on the market.’ And Gundlach said he’s been short all year. This echoes comments from George Soros, Stanley Druckenmiller, and others who are also cautious, if not outright bearish, on stocks in 2016.
