The election is over, and in my view, the results were irrelevant as far as the intermediate- to long-term stock-market outlook. I firmly believe there will be another major bear market which will take the S&P 500 SPX, -0.23% down by 30%, 40%, or more. I have written essentially that in several columns in this space. The bond bear market is more of a “current event,” but I will save that for an upcoming column.
